Una serie di tredici lettere anonime su foglio bianco, ispirate alle lotte contadine del Mezzogiorno. Ogni lettera, firmata con un’impronta di sangue richiamando il rito della punciuta, ricorda che oggi come allora siamo chiamati a scegliere se essere briganti o emigranti. Un’opera che intreccia storia, cultura e ritualità, evocando memorie collettive e attuali dinamiche sociali del Sud Italia.

A series of thirteen anonymous letters on white paper, inspired by the peasant struggles of Southern Italy. Each letter, signed with a blood imprint recalling the ritual of the punciuta, reminds us that today, as then, we are called to choose whether to be bandits or emigrants. A work that intertwines history, culture and ritual, evoking collective memories and current social dynamics of Southern Italy.
